Bhajan Saptaha from Dec 13 to 20

Sri Harihara Panduranga Vittala Bhajana Mandira Trust, Bikarnakatta, will organise its 92nd Bhajan Saptaha on its premises from December 13 to 20.

Addressing reporters in the city on Monday, trustee Vasanth Shetty said that 56 various bhajan mandirs in the district will coordinate for the event. The week-long programme will be inaugurated by Gururaja Upadhyaya, chief priest of Sri Mukhyaprana Temple, Bajilakeri, at 6.44 am on December 13.

At the culmination of the Saptaha on December 20, a Mangalothsava will be held at 6 am. Meals will be served to devotees from 1 pm to 3 pm. ‘Ananda Bhajane’ will be held at 7 pm.

Sri Harihara Panduranga Vittala Bhjana Mandira Trust honorary president Krishnappa B Sanil, president V Jayaram, vice president Umavathi and secretary Ajay Kumar were present at the press meet.
