<p>Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has ended the financial year 2015-16 with its sales turnover (provisional) at Rs 7,510 crore. <br /><br /></p>.<p>This marks a 12% growth over its previous year’s turnover of Rs 6,695 crore.<br />During 2015-16, BEL’s exports amounted to $85 million, which registered a growth of 47% over its previous year’s export turnover of $58 million.<br /><br />Some of the major projects that BEL took up during the financial year 2015-16 included, Akash Missile System, Low Level Light Weight Radar, Naval Communication and Fire Control Systems, Night Vision Devices, 3D Tactical Control Radar, Schilka Weapon Upgrade, Shipborne Electronic Warfare System, Hull Mounted Sonar Humsa 3G, Heliborne Surveillance & Targeting System and L-70 Gun Upgrade.<br /><br /></p>
