BMW rolls out sports car Z4 Drive Roadster

The two-seater sports-car powered by a 2,979 cc petrol engine is being launched as a part of the company’s move to strengthen its position in the Indian luxury car segment. The two-seater roadster is the only vehicle in the segment to combine classic roadster properties with a retractable hardtop, according the company. It can be accelerated to 100 km/hour within 5.1 seconds and it can move at a speed of 250 km/hour where the speed of the vehicle is limited by electronic control, BMW India President Peter Kronschnabl said here.

“With the new BMW Z4 we want to reach out to new target groups in India who appreciate a pure driving experience, high standard of elegance and value, driving and comfort,” Kronschnabl added.
