SpiceJet announces direct Bengaluru–Varanasi flights

SpiceJet on Wednesday announced the launch of direct Bengaluru – Varanasi flights from November 7. This is part of the airline's initiative to boost regional connectivity, that includes daily flights on the routes of Mumbai-Kanpur-Mumbai and Kolkata-Kanpur-Kolkata.

The Varanasi flights will take off from Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) here on all days except Tuesdays. The first flight (SG 721) will depart KIA at 6.05 am to arrive in Varanasi at 8.25 am. The return flight (SG 722) will take off from Varanasi at 8.55 am and reach KIA at 11.40 am.

SpiceJet celebrated the launch by announcing an introductory promotional fare on the routes with fares starting from Rs 3,899 (all inclusive) on the Bengaluru-Varanasi-Bengaluru route.

The offer on other routes are Rs 4,199 (all inclusive) on the Mumbai-Kanpur route, Rs 4,099 on the Kanpur-Mumbai route, Rs 3,899 on the Kolkata-Varanasi route, Rs 3,589 on the Varanasi-Kolkata route, Rs 3,900 on the Kolkata-Kanpur route and Rs 3,299 on the Kanpur-Kolkata route.

Bookings are now open on www.spicejet.com, SpiceJet’s mobile app and through online travel portals and travel agents, an airline release said.
