Infosys declares 70% average Q4 bonus, lowest in FY26

Bengaluru: Bengaluru-based IT services firm Infosys on Monday rolled out an average performance bonus of 70% to eligible employees for the fourth quarter of FY26. This is 15 percentage points lower than the December quarter bonus payout of 85%- which was the highest payout in recent times.

This Q4 bonuses range between 63% and 82%.

In an internal communication, seen by DH, Infosys said the organisation's average bonus payout stood at 70% for Q4 FY26. Employees at Level PL4 with an outstanding (OS) rating will receive 82%, and those who met expectation (ME) will be given a 67% bonus.

Employees at PL5 and PL6 levels with an outstanding rating will be given 79% and 77% bonus payout, respectively. Those who 'met expectations' will be rewarded with 65% and 63%% bonus payout, respectively.

This bonus payout comes at a time when the IT industry is facing multiple headwinds including macro uncertainties.

In the second quarter of FY26, the IT services firm provided 75% average bonus to employees, and in the first quarter, it was 80%.

Infosys posted a 20.87% increase in its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended March 2026 at Rs 8,501 crore. The firm had reported a 13.38% increase in its revenue from operations for the March quarter at Rs 46,402 crore compared to Rs 40,925 crore in Q4FY25.
