ScaleFlux opens innovation centre in Bengaluru for AI & data infrastructure

The company said that the India team will play a key role in global product development, contributing to areas such as ASIC/SoC design, storage architecture, performance optimisation, and platform validation.

Bengaluru: US-based semiconductor company ScaleFlux, which is focused on advanced storage and memory solutions, on Thursday inaugurated its new office in Bengaluru.

As part of its expansion, the company, which has previously invested 30 million dollars in India, plans to invest an additional 30 million dollars over the next two to three years, and it will also hire over 100 engineers during this period.

About 60 people are employed in India currently, and the company plans to double the headcount this year. ScaleFlux works with leading organisations across payments, hyperscale infrastructure, cybersecurity, and AI.

The new centre will serve as ScaleFlux’s India Design and Innovation Centre, focused on advancing next-generation storage technologies for AI, cloud, and hyperscale infrastructure. It said that the India team will play a key role in global product development, contributing to areas such as ASIC/SoC design, storage architecture, performance optimisation, and platform validation.

With India emerging as a key hub for engineering talent and digital infrastructure, ScaleFlux’s Bengaluru centre will support the development of high-performance, efficient storage solutions for data-intensive workloads across enterprises and hyperscalers.

“The launch of our Bengaluru centre marks an important step in building ScaleFlux’s engineering presence in India,” said Romesh Mehta, Managing Director, ScaleFlux India.
