FE reserves up by $4.4 b to $276.36 b

The foreign currency assets (FCA), during the week, declined to US$260.523-billion from US$260.938-billion in the week-ago period, RBI said in its weekly report on Friday.
Foreign currency assets expressed in US dollar terms includes the effect of appreciation or depreciation of non-US currencies (such as Euro, Sterling, Yen) held in reserves, RBI said.

Gold reserves, during the week, remained unchanged at US$9.671-billion while the Special Drawing Rights (SDR) stood at US$4.821-billion, the RBI said.
During the week, country’s reserve position in the international monetary fund stood almost unchanged at US$1.347-billion, the central bank said.
