IIM Bangalore alumnus, ex-Tata CLiq CEO Vikas Purohit appointed Meta's India head of global business

Meta said Purohit will spearhead the company’s strategic relationship with the country’s leading brands and agencies

Facebook-parent Meta on Monday appointed Vikas Purohit as Director of its Global Business Group in India to lead the strategy and delivery units under the advertising wing.

Purohit, who served as the chief executive at Tata CLiQ till October 2022 will now engage with brands and agencies across the country to drive Meta’s revenue growth in India. He will report to Arun Srinivas, Director and Head of Ads Business for Meta in India, the company said in a statement.

Welcoming Purohit into the team, Srinivas said - “Meta is committed to enabling economic opportunities for businesses, and this charter is more important than ever as we navigate global economic headwinds.”
