<p>Abid Ali Neemuchwala, head of the BPO arm of Tata Consultancy Services, has put in his papers after spending over 23 years in the company.<br /><br /></p>.<p>"A Neemuchwala has decided to pursue his career interest outside TCS," the software major said in a statement.<br /><br />He had joined TCS in 1992, according to his LinkedIn profile.<br /><br />He completed his Masters in Industrial Management from IIT Bombay after his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from National Institute of Technology, Raipur.<br /><br />As per TCS' annual report 2013-14, the business process services segment accounted for 12.02 per cent (Rs 9,837.06 crore) of the company's total revenue of Rs 81,809.36 crore.<br /><br />TCS BPO unit ranked at the second spot, after Genpact, in Nasscom's 2013-14 top 15 tally of BPO players in the country.</p>
