Zoho to focus on big enterprises

Software development company Zoho Corp plans to focus on providing business solutions for big enterprises.

In an interaction with DH, Zoho Corp Business Solutions Evangelist & Head of Engineering Rajendran Dandapani said there is a big opportunity in big enterprises space.

"So far we were a Do it yourself(DIY) company and it gave us easy global access. Now, we are planning to focus more on large enterprises to provide larger solutions based on our existing products," he said.

Dandapani said the company has formed a separate team and that it finds enormous opportunity in government projects as well as big companies across the globe.

The company, which started its operations in 1996, expanded globally with its customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise process management software and platform. Backed by 47 apps, 9 products and supported by 7,000 employees, Zoho Corp is serving 2,50,000 clients in the US, EU, India and South East Asia and the Middle East.

The company also announced updates to its suite of CRM software. Zoho CRM Plus has got an update with a virtual assistant that manages customer queries automatically based on past interactions.

"We have launched the Zia bot that can be used by enterprise suite users to fetch data from any of the Zoho applications. It helps save time as the collaboration between the CRM and other tools made easier," said Dandapani.

Zoho Desk, a product built at the company's Tenkasi campus in Tamil Nadu, gives a 360-degree view of customer engagement. "We have made a major upgrade to Zoho Desk with new features such as customer sentiment analysis and the launch of its Radar customer service metrics mobile app and Blueprint workflow automation tool," he said.

Besides social media management tools and SalesIQ, the company also updated business intelligence app Zoho Analytics. ManageEngine, the IT management arm of Zoho Corp, launched Browser Security Plus to combat browser-based cyber attacks at enterprises.

The Chennai and the California-headquartered firm is expanding its India presence. "We have set up a new office at Renigunta in Andhra Pradesh. Now we are consolidating our campuses in Tenkasi and Renigunta," he said.
