On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, 20 primary school teachers and two high school teachers will be presented with the state government’s best teacher award.
Two teachers from Bengaluru South — M S Biradar and Prescilla Shantakumari — are among them. In appreciation of their efforts, the teachers have been awarded a stay at Maurya Hotel for one day along with one member of the family, according to the Department of Education. Following this, on September 5, they will be felicitated at the Vidhana Soudha.
