The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has collected Rs 361 crore property tax in 20 days since the current financial year started.
The BBMP announced 5% rebate on the property tax payment within 30 April and so far around two lakh people have paid property taxes, according to the Palike.
The civic body has collected Rs 215 crore through challan payment and Rs 146 crore by online payment.
"The online technical glitches been resolved now,” said BBMP Commissioner N Manjunath Prasad.
“There will be no extension of rebate beyond 30 April,” he added.
