A housekeeping manager at a multinational has been arrested for sexually abusing a female colleague in an office washroom, police said. The MNC’s office is located in Embassy Tech Park in eastern Bengaluru’s Devarabisanahalli.
Mohan Babu (27), a native of Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, allegedly followed the victim when she was cleaning the women’s washrooms on October 5, 2018. Finding no one around, he allegedly pushed her into a washroom, locked it and sexually abused her. He warned her against telling others about the incident.
The incident left the woman traumatised and she didn’t go to work for a whole week. But she had to eventually open up to her husband. The couple then went to the police and filed a complaint.
