Regional Transport Offices (RTO) across Bengaluru will remain open on Sunday to allow owners and drivers of commercial vehicles to obtain certificates that child locks have been removed in their respective automobiles.
In a press release, the transport commissioner said commercial vehicles, including app-based taxi services, cannot operate without having been given certificates about the deactivation of the child lock system.
