A doctor was robbed at knifepoint on Lavelle Road on Sunday.
Dr Sriram (33) was intercepted by two men when he was walking to his home in the Ajantha Apartment after watching a football match at the Bangalore Club. The men rode up and stopped him at 1.25 am. One of them held a knife to Sriram’s neck and demanded that he hand over all the valuables.
Sriram ran but the duo gave chase. After a distance, he stumbled on a dark footpath. The robbers caught up with him, held a knife to his neck and snatched his wallet that had Rs 2,000, credit and debit cards, a wristwatch worth Rs 50,000 and an iPhone. But Sriram noted the vehicle’s registration number and filed a police complaint.
