Karnataka's 1st multi-purpose car park opens in city

The state’s first multi-purpose car park with several features opened in Bommanahalli on Wednesday.

The car park includes a static display of vintage cars, an amphitheatre with a seating capacity of 3,000, a sandpit for children to play and an enclosure for tortoise and rabbits.

The car park is Bommanahalli corporator Ram Mohan Raju’s initiative. Earlier, he had helped set up a stone park with stone sculptures in a place that was once used as a garbage dumping ground. Ram Mohan Raju said he aims to do something noteworthy for the citizens of Bommanahalli in vacant and unused places.
