Last Updated 14 December 2013, 18:42 IST

KJP founder Prasanna Kumar, according to a missing complaint lodged with the Ashok Nagar Police on Friday by his father Nanjundappa, has been missing since December 9.

In his complaint, Nanjundappa has said his son left home on the morning of December 9, stating he had been invited by former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa for a meeting and has not returned since. Further, according to the police, Prasanna Kumar had connected the charger to his cellphone and forgotten to take it with him.

On delay in lodging the complaint, Nanjundappa and Prasanna Kumar’s wife told the police that he would visit Delhi frequently. The family had tried to trace him with the help of family friends and others, but in vain. Also, there was no call from Prasanna Kumar, forcing the family lodge a complaint, the police said. Nanjunappa has urged the police to question Yeddyurappa on the whereabouts of his son.
