Governor Vaju Bhai Vala will inaugurate the three-day event that will end on November 18

Auxiliary Technologies to enhance agriculture income will be the main focus of Krishi Mela-2018, which will be launched on November 15 at Gandhi Krishi Vignana Kendra (GKVK) campus.

Plots demonstrating yield of new varieties of seeds, agricultural innovations and implements suitable for small and marginal farmers, Israel agriculture technology along with discussion with agricultural enterprises are the key features of the fair.

Felicitation of farmers and an exhibition, including agricultural engineering and animal husbandry, are the other key attractions of the event. The fair also aims to make agriculture a profitable business.

Farmers from Bengaluru rural and urban, Ramanagara, Chamarajanagara, Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan, Kolar, Tumakuru, Chikkaballapur districts will take part in the Krishi Mela.
