Man pushes friend from 3rd floor over love affair

A man was killed after his friend pushed him from the third floor of a lodge in VV Puram over an alleged love affair on Wednesday night.

The deceased, Ronak Choudhary (23) of Ahmedabad had come to the city with 30 others to attend a nursing course entrance test on August 2. Ronak Choudhary was staying in the lodge with his friends Royel Choudhary and Apoorva Choudhary.

The police said that on Wednesday night, the three, who were supposed to return to their native place, went to the balcony. Around 11 pm, Ronak and Royel picked a fight over a love affair and in a fit of rage, Royel pushed Ronak from the balcony. Ronak fell from the third floor and died instantly.

The VV Puram police arrested Royel. Ronak's body was sent for postmortem and his family members were informed.

In another incident, an unidentified man was found murdered. The head was crushed beyond recognition with a boulder on Wednesday evening at Jalahalli.

The police said that the body was found by passersby near Goraguntepalya new bridge around 4 pm on Wednesday. He was aged between 30 and 35 years and it is suspected that he was killed over personal enmity.
