Unidentified miscreants chopped off the right hand of a youth who had come to meet his girlfriend at Bannerghatta on the southern outskirts of Bengaluru on Tuesday evening.
The injured Ravish (23), a native of Chitradurga and a resident of Yarandahalli in Anekal, and his girlfriend, a home guard, were sitting on a rock in Bannerghatta. Three men picked a quarrel with Ravish and chopped off his hand and took it with them.
The Bannerghatta police are investigating.
