The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti on Tuesday approved starting a new Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) in Kolar from a temporary campus in the district from the academic session of 2017-18.
The decision was taken by the Samiti at its meeting presided over by Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Prakash Javadekar recently. “The Samiti approved starting the school from a temporary campus in Kolar from this year. The State government has provided land for the construction of the permanent campus of the school,” official sources said. The Samiti also gave green signal to starting JNVs in Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh.
