Pick your art at Chitra Santhe today

The ninth edition of Chitra Santhe will be held at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath on Sunday. The event provides a platform for the artists and art-lovers to meet and interact with each other.

The fair will go on from 9 am to 8 pm where a variety of art works will be on display. Art works ranging from Re one to Rs one lakh will be on sale, here. Arrangements have been made for artisans to set up stalls for free.

Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda will inaugurate the fair at 10 am. Kannada and Culture Minister Govind M Karajol will be present.

As part of the Chitra Santhe, Prajavani and Deccan Herald have organised painting and drawing contests at 9 am at the venue. The competition is open to all age groups. The theme for contest will be given at the spot. Drawing sheets will also be provided. Contestants are requested to carry their personal painting colours.
