PU lecturers’ transfer counselling from July 26

The Department of Pre-university Education has announced the counselling dates for lecturers' transfers. This is the third time that the department has put up the dates.

Previously, the department postponed the lecturers' transfer procedure citing technical reasons. According to the revised dates, the counselling is set to take place between July 26 and August 4 at the Government Boys' College, 18th Cross, Malleswaram.

The transfer rules were to be amended based on the demands put forth by several PU lecturers. The department had sent a proposal in this regard to the government. However, as approval has not been granted for most, the department will conduct counselling based on the previously laid down guidelines for most parts.
