Stalls for agri startups to come up

For the first time, exclusive stalls will come up at the Krishi Mela that will give out information about the financial support the leading banks provide to support the youth to start agriculture-related businesses.

On Saturday, successful startups will start stalls related to the startup business.

According to a University of Agriculture Sciences, Bangalore, official: “The startup forums will share their experience with the people and demonstrate their work with an audiovisual presentation. The new inventions in the farm sector will also be displayed.”

“The banks have also set up stalls to give information about various facilities they provide to startups,” he added.

Rs 24 lakh worth special desi ‘Gir breed cow,’ was the major attraction at the fair on Thursday. Huge Gir breed cow owned by Yatish from Kanakapura was on the display.

According to Yatish, the Rajasthan-based cow gives around 10-15 litres of milk per day and it is one of the top five cow breeds in the country.
