Threat call to Kannada actor

According to a complaint lodged with the Vyalikaval police, first four calls were made to her businessman brother Deepak from public phones in Cottonpet on Sunday and Monday and no demands were made.

However on Tuesday, a person introducing himself as Jayaram from Tamil Nadu called Deepak twice from phone numbers 9790787303 and 044-69503881 and demanded money. He had threatened to eliminate Amoolya and Deepak if they failed to pay up.

According to Inspector Abdul Khader, a criminal intimidation case has been registered.
