Three-month baby goes missing

A three-month-old boy baby, has allegedly gone missing from his house at Vinobhanagar under the KG Halli police limits.

The incident occurred at around 10.30 am on Wednesday when the baby was left alone at home by his mother Fauziya, who went to fetch her two sons playing nearby.

She had latched the door and when she returned home, her son was missing. She informed her husband Mohammed Jameel, a labourer, who searched the area, but to no avail.

The boy’s parents in a complaint to the KG Halli police on Thursday stated that about 10 days ago, a few people had come asking them to sell their son, but they refused.

They said they had no clue who those people were.

Shabaz, 14, who suffered an electric shock at his residence in HMT Layout in RT Nagar police limits on May 3, succumbed to his injuries on Friday.

Shabaz, who was studying in Tamil Nadu, had come to visit his parents after completing his exams. On May 3, he was on the terrace talking on his mobile phone and accidentally touched a high-tension wire resulting in his electrocution.

He was in a critical condition when the parents rushed him to St John’s Hospital. He had suffered 70 per cent burns and was being treated, but on Friday, he died of his injuries, the police said.
