Toddler falls from 1st floor of PG building, dies

An 18-month-old died as she fell from the first floor of a building at Nallurhalli, Whitefield on Monday.
Anita S, was the daughter of Geetha and Shivakumar.
The incident happened around 10 am when Geetha was cleaning the rooms at Balaji Gents PG.
Geetha alleged she had asked the PG owner, Ramana Reddy, to install iron window grills as the sliding glass wasn’t safe.
She said while she was busy cleaning the ground floor, her daughter was playing on the first floor. Anitha peeped from the window to look at her mother downstairs, lost balance, and fell.
Though rushed to a hospital she was declared brought dead. Police booked Ramana Reddy for negligence.
