Southern Bengaluru on Monday witnessed minor inconvenience as trees were uprooted in Indiranagar, Kengari and Koramangala due to thirty-minute long rain.
Low lying areas such as BTM Layout 2nd stage, Bilekahalli Main Road and surrounding low lying areas were also flooded.
Groceries of an anganawadi centre were submerged in water in Kodichikkanahalli of Bommanahalli zone
Joint Commissioner of Bommanahalli Zone, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), visited the spot and collected the details.
The Palike officials have been asked to clear fallen trees.
