State Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar has urged the Chief Minister to name the National College metro station after educationist Dr H Narasimhaiah.
In a letter to the Chief Minister, Kumar said, “As soon as we hear of National College, we remember Dr H Narasimhaiah. In his memory, I request the Chief Minister to direct the authorities concerned to name the National College metro station as Dr HN station.”
The metro station was inaugurated in 2017, the year National High School celebrated its centenary.
