The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has decided to name the Tumakuru Road in honour of the Siddaganga seer, Shivakumara Swami.

The Tumakuru Road will be now called the ‘Parama Pujya Dr Sri Sri Sri Shivakumara Mahaswami Road’.

The stretch between Yeshwantpur Circle to Kennametal Industry road will be named after the seer, who is known for his philanthropic work in the state.
