Two from Shivamogga share 3rd place in SSLC

Ankith H R and Akshara D from Shivamogga share the third place in the SSLC examinations.

Ankith, a student of Sandeepani School and Akshara D of Sri Adichunchanagiri Composite Pre-University College, have both scored an aggregate of 621 marks out of 625.

Ankith’s score card is: Sanskrit-125, Kannada-100, Mathematics-100, Science-99, Social Science-99 and English-98. Speaking to Deccan Herald over a phone call, he said, “Constant studying, support from my parents and teachers helped me perform well in the examinations.

This achievement is not a surprise for me at all. I used to study for four to five hours a day. Besides, I was active in extra-curricular activities. I prefer studying in the early morning. I have plans of pursuing either CA or MBBS.” He is the son of Raghuram Bhat H S and Bhargavi H R.

Akshara, daughter of Devaraj and Mamata, has also scored 621 marks. Her scored card is: Sanskrit-125, Kannada-99, English-100, Mathematics-100, Social Science-100 and Science-97. She said, “I had anticipated that I would come out with flying colours.

I used to attend tuitions too. I prefer to study in the night. Regular studying and support from teachers and parents played a vital role in achieving the target. I want to become a Neurologist.”
