The Antique Automobile Association, along with Parshvanath Jain Temple on Hosur Road, organised a vintage vehicles’ rally on Sunday as part of the temple’s anniversary celebrations.
As many as 15 vintage vehicles accommodating at least two guests in each car drove the distance of about 25 kilometres from Konark Kanteerava outdoor stadium to the temple.
The rally started around 8:15 am and the cars returned by the afternoon. Many vintage vehicle enthusiasts participated in the rally.
“The temple committee members received us warmly. We were pleased by their hospitality. All the members of the Antique Automobile Association just enjoyed the Sunday outing with our vintage beauties, and we will cherish this forever,” said Raghunath, one of the members and participants in the rally.
He added: “The event was organised after our successful Kannada Rajyotsava event. The response we got is simply great compared to the last year, as many are on their Christmas vacations.”
