A woman lodged a police complaint against an Uber driver for taking a detour and abusing and misbehaving with her when she questioned him.
The woman, a resident of HSR Layout, working for a private company, boarded the car on Monday morning to reach her company in Bellandur. To avoid a traffic jam, the driver took an alternative route, he told the police. But when the woman started abusing him for taking a detour, the driver dropped her off and cancelled the trip.
The woman reported the incident on a senior police official's Twitter handle. The HSR Layout police are investigating.
