Youth held for stalking Malayalam actor

The Madiwala police arrested a 28-year-old youth for stalking a Malayalam actror and pressuring her to marry him.

The suspect has been identified as Franklin Whisil, an employee at a private firm and a resident of Electronics City.

According to the police, Whisil was arrested following a complaint filed by Reba Monica John, a resident of Koramangala alleging that he was following her and sending messages to her mobile phone for the last one year. He was produced before a court and released on bail.

The actor, in her complaint, stated that Whisil had been following her since last October. He managed to get her mobile number and started sending messages and harassing her.
