<p>New Delhi, Uno Minda on Thursday said it will invest about Rs 210 crore to set up a manufacturing facility of its casting division at Aurangabad in Maharashtra to meet demands for electric vehicle casting parts.</p>.<p>The committee of the board of directors approved the detailed project report for the facility in its meeting held on June 19, 2025.</p>.<p>The facility will cater to the increasing demands of OEMs for casting parts in electric vehicles, the auto components maker said in a regulatory filing.</p>.<p>"The total capital expenditure for this new manufacturing facility is estimated at Rs 210 crore approximately, to be spent in phased manner," it added.</p>.<p>It will be financed through internal accruals and term loan.</p>.<p>The company plans to increase the capacity to 3,629 MT per annum to be added over the next 5 years in a phased manner with phase 1 expected in Q2 of 2026-27. </p>
