Mohammed Ramzan, a 35-year old from Lahore, was found clicking photographs of a woman with a mobile phone at Rajouri Garden Metro station when some passengers got suspicious and caught hold of him, official sources said.

The passengers called Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials guarding the facility who detained him and handed him over to Delhi Police, they said.
Photography is prohibited in the Metro premises.
Ramzan was travelling with valid passport and visa, the sources said adding that they did not find anything suspicious about him.

He was jointly interrogated by Intelligence and Delhi Police officials.
CCTV footage also purportedly showed him clicking pictures, they said adding he had boarded the Metro train from Dwarka Metro station.
"Some photos of a woman were found in his mobile," a senior police official said.
Ramzan has come to India along with around 50 people on a religious trip two days ago. He is staying in a Paharganj hotel.

According to the official, Ramzan told police that he was not aware that photography was prohibited in Metro.

The official said he told them that he wanted to have a ride on the Metro and had gone to Dwarka station.
"He has to go to several places in India along with others on the trip," the official said.
