IAF doctor arrested for hoax bomb

 Airport police gave the name of accused as Dr Akshay, a doctor in Indian Air Force.
He was to take the Mumbai - bound private airline scheduled at 7.05 p.m. but landed late at the terminals.

After learning that the staff had stopped issuing boarding passes, he picked up a fight and finally managed to get hold of the pilot's number.

He called up and informed about the bomb being planted in the aircraft.
Immediately, dog and bomb squad were pressed and the flight was delayed for more than two hours.

The accused has been booked under IPC 506 for giving hoax threatening calls.
