Speaking to reporters after visiting his father admitted to a private hospital in the town, Tangadagi said all the rebels were united and there was no change in their stance against the government.
The former minister said Speaker Bopaiah disqualified 17 legislators including Independents with the sole intention of saving the government. “We are Independents and the BJP can’t issue whip. The question of whip violation and disqualification therefore do not arise at all,” he claimed.
