Percussionists
perform to entertain

Have you ever wondered who a beat boxer is? Beat boxing is making percussion sounds with your mouth. This is one of the most fun styles of music and you can hear it only on Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega from a group of four boys who play mouth and body percussion. They are students of Taufiq Qureshi.  Qureshi, an ace percussionist of and an acclaimed composer is tabla maestro Zakir Hussain’s brother. Incidentally, he is also Farah Khan’s college mate and she was delighted to see his students perform so brilliantly. The boys not only won Rs 10,000 but also qualified for the Friday finale!

With majority of the scenes in Choti Bahu demanding Radhika ( Rubina Dilaik) to cry and shed tears, the girl has cried so much that now  even the usage of glycerine  has ceased to activate her tear glands, which have actually saturated. Sounds funny but it is true that Radhika cannot cry anymore. The actress, the director and the entire crew wait patiently for the tears to come in Radhika’s eyes for the crying sequences but all in vain. The tears just don’t flow! Seeing her plight, the director has pleaded with the writers to avoid having scenes which portray a crying Radhika. Poor Radhika! Hope her dead tear glands recuperate soon.
