The song has been sung by Mamta Sharma, who has sung the superhit Munni Badnaam Hui.

Accompanying her on  vocals is Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi. The song has been composed by the music director duo Sajid-Wajid.
It remains to be seen whether this song too will become as famous as Munni Badnaam Hui.

One And Only is being produced by actor Anuj Saxena’s production house Maverick.

Apart from Chirag Paswan, the film also stars Kangana Ranaut, Sagarika Ghatge, Neeru Bajwa, Poonam Dhillon, Vinod Khanna and Dilip Tahil in important roles. Tanvir Khan is directing the movie.

Anuj said, “The song was shot on a set resembling a village. It is very special and important because it’s Chirag’s first song and Shweta’s first item number and the pair looks nice.”

Magnificent Amitabh Bachchan Grand start to the new season

Amitabh Bachchan went all out to make sure the opening of Kaun Banega Crorepati was unlike any other event seen on Indian television before.

The set was created on a short notice, yet no corners were left untouched and everything was looked after very well.  Amitabh’s sense of humour and boundless energy during the shoot kept everyone on their toes and in high spirits. His creative suggestions were really appreciated by everyone and motivated them to give their best.

He was so enthused about the opening song that he jammed with composers Vishal-Shekhar till the wee hours of the morning to complete it.

The music video of the show has been directed by India’s contemporary dance guru — Shiamak Davar, who was extremely excited to watch the legend perform in front of his eyes.

A touched Shiamak said, “Recreating the best of Mr Bachchan’s works was a challenge. That’s why I decided to do a piece that would reflect his journey from a poet to an actor, a star, a superstar and  finally, as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati. The opening of the show is a tribute to Mr Bachchan’s best work, something never seen or experienced before. I am honoured to have gotten the opportunity to direct him for this.”

Despite a short notice,  Shiamak got his troupe from all corners of the world and 80 dancers were specially flown down and the shoot went seamlessly without any hassles.  Around 81 pagdis were also brought in for this out of which, one pagdi was eight feet by 12 feet in size.

The show started with Amitabh making a grand entry from a 24-feet-tall structure in the form of an ‘A’ narrating his father’s poetry.  The entire ambience was white with Shiamak’s dancers holding white candles. Plus posters of Big B’s famous films were put all around the studio. These posters were specially sourced from various places.

The grand set was constructed by Nitin Desai at Yash Raj Studio, who seemed to have done a fabulous job. All in all, the shoot proved to be a great success and the best opening to a magnificent show.
