Citizen of the world Bobby Chinn has travelled around Asia to cities such as Singapore, Manila, Malacca, Jakarta, Beijing, Yunnan, Amritsar, Chennai and Kolkata. This October, the restaurateur and self-proclaimed ‘ethnic mutt’ travels to eight destinations across the Middle East and attempts to cook his way through a myriad of ancient but sophisticated recipes, on World Cafe: Middle East. Airing every Monday at 10 pm, in each episode, Bobby introduces the unique recipes, colourful history, and fascinating culture of this ancient region. Against the backdrop of some of the world’s most famous historic sites, the culinary and cultural surprises of the Middle East will be revealed.
 

Love for television

Siddharth Malhotra, the director of We Are Family is planning to return to television. He plans to churn out four serials by the end of this year. He has worked in the television industry for more than a decade and has produced several soaps like Sanjivani, Ssshhhh...Koi Hai...., Krishna-Arjun, among others under his banner Cinevistaas Limited. He already has a few shows on air and plans to come out with more in collaboration with some leading channels on television. Of the three he is making, two shows are romantic-comedies while the other one is an edge of the seat thriller.

Revolutionary bike

Tune in to National Geographic on October 19 at 9 pm to watch Big: Mega Factories Week. This episode will feature the Harley-Davidson V-Rod as the first Harley-Davidson motorcycle to go from 0 to 96 kilometers per hour in just 3.52 seconds, nearly twice as fast as any other Harley-Davidson bike.
