Hotel built on Wakf property: Minister

 
Talking to media persons here, he said a Muthavali had encroached eight acres of land in Uttara Kannada district and a criminal notice had been served on him. He also alleged that a former minister has built a luxury hotel on a wakf property. However, he declined to name the politician, who had built the hotel in a district.

 The minister said  he owned   ten acres of land near Devanahalli airport and already donated two acres. He would dispose of the remaining land and would use the proceeds for charitable causes, including building mosques and temples.
