Bharti Axa's Priya Ranjan to head 1-lakh workforce globally

After a five-year stint with Bharti Axa since it started operations in India, Ranjan will now be working from Paris as the head of Global Life and Savings Business Line of the AXA Group.

"Our group has a stated policy of international mobility of executives. It is an honour to have been selected for the assignment at the headquarters," Ranjan told PTI here.

Outlining his thrust areas for the assignment, Ranjan said he would like to create a new platform for integrated talent management which would ensure uniform human resources (HR) policies across the 57 geographies in which the group has a presence.

"I would also like to make Axa group the preferred company to work with and increase our visibility in the market so that we get the best talent," he said. Overall, the Axa group has a workforce of 2,16,000 people of which 1-lakh are in the life and savings vertical and the rest with the property and casualty vertical, Ranjan said.
