All India Vayu Sainik camp

Close to 600 air wing cadets, including 180 girl cadets from across the country are expected to participate in this national-level camp, being organised by the Karnataka and Goa Directorate.

Governor of Karnataka H R Bhardwaj will inaugurate the camp and the closing ceremony will be presided over by Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hedge on October 30.

During the camp, NCC cadets will learn and enjoy a plethora of aviation-related activities like gliding, micro light aircraft flying, static aero modelling, control line and skeet shooting.

Apart from these activities, the cadets also get a chance to fly in Air Force Transport Aircraft and helicopters at Air Force Station, Yelahanka.
