In his response to the felicitation Rosaiah said that the Arya Vysyas should come together to form a major political representation in the country.
Speaking in Telugu, Rosaiah said: “We need to give more emphasis towards education as that has been lacking in our community.”
Rosaiah said that there has been a delink in the community’s fortune with its educational background. “More and more people from our community have stayed away from education due to our trade and business mentality. This needs to change,” he said.
Speaking on his rise in the Congress party and later his ascension to the Chief Minister’s post, the veteran politician who has presented the most number of State Budget for AP, Rosaiah identified himself as a soldier of the Party. “I have been the same man throughout my political career. From being a party worker till my becoming the Chief Minister, I have followed the diktat of the Party. Even my appointment to the post of the Chief Minister was based on the decision made by the Party high command and president Sonia Gandhi,” said Rosaiah.
