Knocking everyone out

MS Dhoni and his team-mates Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Dhawan, Ashish Nehra to name a few were spotted at a multiplex in Vishakhapatnam catching the latest Sanjay Dutt-Irrfan Khan starrer Knock Out. Despite their hectic schedule, the team managed to catch an evening show of the action thriller and seemed to be having a good time.

In fact, Yuvraj seemed to be so impressed with the film, that he immediately tweeted, “Watched Knock Out...learnt a lesson from the film — ‘Country First’ (sic).” Looks like the film really made a grand impression on the boys!

Apparently, the staff and guards of the multiplex were all upbeat as they got the
opportunity of a lifetime to see their cricketing heroes in flesh and blood.

Running behind SRK

The police of 132 countries are chasing Shah Rukh Khan. Before you get us wrong, let us tell you it’s not happening in reality, but in the movie Don 2.  The shooting for this film has started in Berlin. Don 2 is being directed by Farhan Akhtar and also stars Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Sameera Reddy, Boman Irani, Om Puri and Kunal Kapoor.

In this film, cops of 132 countries are after SRK while in the last film, only 11 countries were mentioned.

So why such a long jump? On being quizzed about it, Shah Rukh smiles and replies, “The times have changed and that’s why in my next film, the cops of many countries are chasing me. Anyway, let me tell you that I am very scared of the police. But yes, in the film, they are all after me.”

An apologetic reaction

Regretful : A R RahmanIn what can be termed as a late reaction, music maestro A R Rahman has expressed regret that his composition Oh Yaaro, Ee India, Bula Liya failed to charm everyone.
Sources in his office maintain that the Commonwealth Games’ theme song was aimed at a number of international fans. Rahman’s theme song was supposed to be an answer to Shakira’s official song for the FIFA World Cup 2010 — Waka Waka, which became a rage across the world.

According to Rahman’s test team, “The song was tested in various countries across Asia, Australia and Europe, and the youth liked it. If some of the older people did not like it, Rahman is sorry. But he liked the theme song and said that in future, he would test it on people of all ages.”

foodie : Katrina Kaif Relishing Indian food

Everytime she is away from home and is shooting for a film, guess what Katrina Kaif relishes eating the most? The answer is the desi curd-rice. A friend of the actress said, “Though Katrina has been brought up in London, it is the typical Indian khana that tickles her taste buds. Curd rice is her favourite dish. Kats can have dahi chawal anytime
of the day. Kats also prefers dahi chawal because it is oil-free and healthy,” said the friend.

Kats enjoys cooking too. “She finds cooking extremely therapeutic. Kats also finds dancing, painting, watching movies, going to spas, working out, meeting new people and getting together with friends, very relaxing,” said the friend. As far as being on the sets is concerned, Kats loves eating dahi chawal. Apparently, the gorgeous actress loves Punjabi food as well, especially paranthas, sarson da saag and makki di roti. Well, we wonder where do the calories go?
