Syndicate Bank's net profit up 35%

At Rs 1,366 crore Syndicate Bank’s operating profit for the half year ending September 2010 was 52 per higher than the same period last year. The net profit for first half at Rs 502.47 crore was 14 per cent higher against Rs 439.37 crore in H1 last year.

The global business of the bank was at Rs 2,12,027 crore as on September 30 against Rs 1,93,488 crores, registering a growth of 10 per cent.
