Four houses collapse in Hassan

The families residing in these houses had a narrow escape. The houses belonged to Keshavamurthy of the colony.

Meanwhile, several houses in the colony have developed cracks as they are situated in low-lying areas. The rain water mixed with sewage water had entered several houses in the colony due to absence of the UGD facility. The residents are spending sleepless nights since last two days because of rains.

The Revenue department officials inspected the spot and have put the loss at ` two lakh.
