In the 60 kg category, Daljit Singh and Rakesh Gupta entered the finals while in the 90 kg category, Jitender Dhillon and Amarinder Singh achieved this feat.
The other Indians who reached the finals were Pradeep Verma (55 kg), Nizam Shafi (65 kg), A Boby Singh (75 kg) and Gaurav Kapil (85 kg).
