I won't entertain transfer pleas at Janata Darshan: Yeddyurappa

The CM said whenever he was in the capital he would meet the public. The public meeting will be between 9 am and 10 am. Later he will meet MLAs and MPs.

The CM said that he would accept all kinds of applications  in the Janata Darshan.

However, he added that he would not entertain those coming up with applications seeking transfers. He said district in-charge ministers would also hold Janata Darshans regularly at the district centres.

Chief Minister Yeddyurappa is in Chennai for a medical check-up. He is expected to stay in a private hospital for a couple of days, according to official sources.

The CMO was not forthcoming about the hospital to which the CM was admitted to.

However, a source said that he has been admitted to the MV Diabetes Centre. “He needs to be take a break from the hectic routine. He has no health problems. He will be just taking rest for a couple of days. He always went to Chennai for his routine medical tests,” the sources said.

The CM has no scheduled meetings to attending either in Bangalore or elsewhere in the State for next three days. He reached Chennai this evening and may return on July 3.

Medical Education Minister Ramachandra Gowda is also with the Chief Minister, and he has also been admitted to the same hospital.
